However, some of this work takes a lot of your time. You need to focus your time on bringing revenue first and foremost or else your business will suffer.

Whether you want a logo designed, you need an article translated or you'd like help with data mining, you can outsource that kind of work and hire individuals from all parts of the globe on Fiverr.

*Always do your due diligence before contracting your work and beware of the platform fees as well.

2) Outsourcing on OnlineJobs.ph

Just like Fiverr, Onlinejobs.ph is another great site for contracting and outsourcing your work.

It's the "World's largest and safest marketplace for finding rock star Filipino workers."

If you plan on hiring an outsourcer long-term, you definitely want to go this route. I highly suggest you go with the Pro or the Premium package.

You pay a monthly fee to contact workers. Find the right one, build a relationship and then take that business relationship off Onlinejob.ph and save the monthly fee. 

On Fiverr, you pay a percentage fee on every dollar paid to your freelancer for the contract work. The fees can rack up pretty quickly if you are outsourcing several large projects that take a lot of time to complete.

Keep Fiverr for smaller outsourcing projects and build relationships with the freelancers on Onlinejobs.ph for bigger and longer-term work.

Looking for a multi-streaming software other than Zoom? You absolutely need to go with Streamyard. It's the platform that Gary Vaynerchuk uses for his live streams.

It's honestly the most user-friendly technology software I have ever used. The simplicity and the attractive branding features makes this my go-to multi-streaming platform.

I've used previous combinations of OBS + Zoom and then just Zoom itself to multi-stream to my social media profiles/pages, but ever since I came across Streamyard, I haven't looked back. It integrates with Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, Twitch & Periscope (Twitter).

There's a free plan that you can take advantage of, but the next level up is the basic plan at $25/month and it's honestly a great bargain if you plan on doing a lot of LIVE multi-streaming.

9) Active Campaign

Every business considers their email list one of, if not, THE most important asset of their online business. With a decent size following, you can generate revenue at a push of a button.

You can sell an info-products, open up coaching/consulting spots and suggest 3rd party tools to monetize your email.

I personally use Active Campaign as my email automation software. With its power automation, detailed reports and know as one of the best in deliverability rate, this choice was a no brainer for me.

Here's a list of the books that had a very SIGNIFICANT impact on my mindset, business knowledge and marketing skills. I highly suggest reading every single one of them to keep learning and growing.

Let's not sugarcoat anything here, business is hard. Learning something new is hard. Being successful in building an online business takes drive, mental fortitude, risk, passion and perseverance...

So why not learn from the best of the best? 

Here's a book that changed my life...I REALLY enjoyed listening to this book by Grant Cardone below on Audible.

It's called Be Obsessed Or Be Average. Grant's a great story teller and is known worldwide as one of the top real estate entrepreneurs and master at sales. The guy oozes confidence and certainty. There's definitely a thing or two you can learn from him. Simply by the way he presents himself and talks about money + business.

After listening to this book on Audible, I took the action to leave my current job at the time to hone-in on developing my online marketing skills and also surround myself with people that we're obsessed with being successful in business, health and relationships.

This book literally took me to new heights. I now go after the things that I want with a purpose. I've chosen to be "obsessed" about my business and my purpose.. as should you (in your own way).

We have one life to live, so why settle for being average?

I continuously apply what I've read in the book in my everyday life.

For example, there's a section in the book where they emphasize the importance of addressing someone by their first name during personal and business conversations. The author of the book tells us that we as individuals, love hearing our name. It's an effective way of communicating and building trust.

Dale Carnegie is an award-winning author and his book How To Win Friends & Influence People is the staple for building relationships and having your voice heard by others.

4) Think & Grow Rich

In order to become wealthy and grow rich, you need to think like successfully affluent individuals.

You need to think BIG. Fact of the matter is, there is SO MUCH wealth in this world and anyone can grow their wealth if they have the right mindset in place.

From a young age, most of us were trained to be "good workers". Back when I went to school, there was very little education on entrepreneurialism, marketing and mindset training.

Think & Grow Rich is the educative book you need to restructure your thinking about money and your financial goals. I know that personally, this book rewired my brain. I stopped putting limits on my financial needs and objectives. I also started thinking like "I've been there before" and this new found confidence has given be the ability to go for what I really want with minimal hesitation.

I've been taught most of my life to "get a good job" and "investing in real estate is risky and a lot of work" or "investing in the stock market is like gambling".

The truth is that a good job might be as risky as a starting business because you don't have any control over your destiny when working for someone else. Perhaps that good job doesn't give you any fulfillment. NOT investing in real estate is MORE risky than investing in it (assuming you don't make a terrible transaction) and investing in the stock market doesn't have to be risky.

5) The 5 Second Rule

Have you ever thought about something important ALL day, something that needs to be done as soon as possible, but you kept delaying and procrastinating only to have got it done a day, a week or even a month later?

Of course you have, we've all been there.

We each have our "to-do" list in health, wealth and relationships. The main take away from The 5 Second Rule is that we need to stop over-thinking and delaying the action that we need to do in order to move forward and progress.

Simply count to 5 out loud and start completing the task and what needs to be completed right away.

The 5 second rule applies to a lot of things in life. For example, there are times when we NEED to do something but we are avoiding it for one reason or another. Mel Robbins, the author of the book, suggests that in those moments, you quickly count to 5 then commit yourself to the task at end.

Personally, this book changed my mental approach on business more than anything else.

The 5 second rule helps me when I'm about to make sales calls and prospect calls. I'd consider myself a good cold caller, but I honestly don't enjoy the process of cold calling. However, it was something that I needed to do in the past to be successful at my job. I used the 5 second rule in between every call, that way, I didn't over analyze about what I was going to say on the next call.

I've saved a lot of precious hours as well. Instead of over-analyzing everything about the conversation I was about to have with prospects, I got to make more dials, more calls and reach  more people.

I've taken a few golden nuggets from this book, applied them in real life and I know you will find some valuable mindset tips in The 5 Second Rule.

6) Rejection Proof

In business, you get rejected all the time. To be successful, you'll certainly get your fair share of rejections.

If you have a fear of being rejected and it's stopping you from trying to sell a product/service or build a business relationship, I highly suggest you read this book to find some inspiration in seeking rejection.

The author of Rejection Proof, Jia Jiang, did a self-challenge of seeking a rejection 100 days in a row. With every every request seemingly getting more absurd by the way, he goes on to prove that you'd be surprised at what you can get in life IF you just ask for it.

It's a great mindset book and extremely entertaining. Some of the things that Jia does to seek rejection are downright silly and unbelievable. You got to read this one if the fear of rejection is slightly holding you back.

It was a great listen on Audible and it inspired me to ask the tough questions that I was hesitating to ask others (personally and in business).

In sales, often times beginners neglect to ask for the sale at one point in their conversation with a potential client. Master your fear of rejection and I promise you will enjoy a TON of success in sales and business.

7) The 10x Rule

Another great book by Grant Cardone that altered my mindset for setting goals and targets. The message is fairly simple, you need to 10x all your goals. 

Why?

Grant explains in the book that in order to achieve greatness and be a success story in a short amount of time, you need to 10X your goals. He said most people set targets that are too low and that are "achievable" for a lack of better words. When setting low goals and targets, you are not pushing yourself to be the very best.

Grant also iterates that if you set yourself goals that are 10x and that if you end up landing short of that goal and only 7x or 8x your target goals, it's still considered a success.

Example: Personally, when I got in the wealth management industry, I set myself a first year target of acquiring $100 Million in new business for the group. My "initial" goal was 10 Million, but in the words of Mr. Cardone, I was thinking small. So I applied The 10x Rule and raised the target to $100 Million instead of $10 Million.

Guess what? I brought in over $50 Million in my first year. I literally 5x my initial goal. I don't say this to brag, but rather to show you that switching your mindset around your income or business targets will benefit you tremendously in the long run.

At the end of the day, I considered $50 Million in my first year a successful year. However, I also know there's room for improvement (I need to stay motivated and driven to hit those BIG goals).

If you need a mindset shift in your goal setting and breaking any limiting beliefs of your income potential, then you NEED to read this book.

8) The 4-Hour Work Week

As business owners and entrepreneurs, we have many hats to wear and/or departments to manage: marketing, sales, bookkeeping, client service, branding, philanthropy, employer, etc.

The author Tim Ferriss highlights many time savings tricks and tips that allow ANYONE to be more productive and make better use of our precious time. Afterall, you can always generate more wealth, but you can't buy more time.

If you're destined to live the digital nomad style, aka "the laptop lifestyle", then this book should be on your list to read/listen.

Tim Ferriss arguably, has got to be one of the most interesting human beings alive. He introduces himself at the beginning of this book. After reading or listening to what he has accomplished in his life, you'll want to read/hear what he has to share in The 4-Hour Workweek.

In my personal opinion, I saved the best business/entrepreneur book for last. If you are new to the entrepreneur scene, then this book is a must read.

I honestly think that this book should be a staple of our childhood education. So many of us have been raised and educated by the "Poor Dad", while what all of us need is the advice and wisdom from "Rich Dad" in Robert Kiyosaki's book.

In Rich Dad Poor Dad, Robert tells us his childhood stories of the two "fathers" in his life. His real dad was "Poor Dad" and his friend's dad was "Rich Dad". He shares the advice and knowledge passed down from both of them and compares them side by side as he's telling his stories.

Not only was this book a refreshing read, but it highlights the basic principles of the wealthy. One of those principles is to make money work for you and to buy assets that produce consistent cash flow.

If you were to ask every successful business owner and online entrepreneur if they've read Rich Dad Poor Dad, they most likely will say YES.

This book has been out for over 20 years and it's the #1 personal finance book of all time. Humans love storytelling and Robert has mastered it in this book. He also simplifies the steps you need to take to achieve financial freedom and independence. One of my top favorite business books by far.
